Ingredients

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ Approx 2kg of bones (grass fed beef marrow, lamb bones left over or chicken carcass)

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ 3-4 litres water

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ 1/2 cup Apple cider vinegar

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ 2 onions coarsely chopped

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ 3 carrots coarsely chopped

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ 1 parsnip coarsely chopped

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ 4 celery stalks coarsely chopped

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ 2 leeks coarsely chopped

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ 3 garlic cloves

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ Small handful of fresh thyme ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ 2 bay leaves

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ Salt and pepper to taste ...


Method

1๏ธโƒฃ Place bones in large pot and cover with water and vinegar. Let stand for 1 hour

2๏ธโƒฃ Add all other ingredients to the pot and bring the boil

3๏ธโƒฃ Reduce heat and simmer for approx 8-12 hours. Strain into a large bowl. (If you have a slow cooker, leave on low cooking all day).

4๏ธโƒฃ Cool and throw away chunks of fat. Then freeze in portions or store in fridge for up to 4 days.
